While in our care, your dog’s health, safety and happiness is our primary concern. Our facility offers fully indoor climate-controlled luxury enclosures. Boarding rates are based on the enclosure size selected (please see the rates page for details). Depending on the size of the dogs and enclosure – up to 3 dogs from the same family who live together can share an enclosure. Our enclosures include raised cot beds and all of the necessities for a comfortable stay (fleece blankets, water and food bowls etc.). Our prices are all inclusive. There are no extra charges. If your dog needs medication or other special care we happily provide that without additional charge. We have 3 acres of securely-fenced play yards enabling our canine guests to have hours of endless fun running and romping through the fields with their canine friends. We mix compatible guests based on size and temperament. Although securely contained, guests are always attended while outside. Our staff also spends one-on-one time with dogs that enjoy ball chasing, frisbee, tug-of-war and other games. Our large indoor playroom/lounge decorated with living room furniture, colorful gym flooring, and a huge supply of toys, is where your dog can spend time lounging on the couch, playing fetch, or wrestling with each other or the staff. Just as in the yards, guests are always attended while in the playroom. Our guests spend their days rotating through the outdoor yards and indoor playroom. Plenty of personal attention and TLC is offered daily. Our guests who love to spend much of their day outside will get plenty of time in the outdoor yards. Those who prefer to stay indoors will spend the majority of their play time in the indoor lounge/playroom. Every guest staying 4 nights or longer, will receive a complimentary go home bath and blow dry (as long as it's not too stressful). We’ll quickly forgo this service in order to maintain our guest’s happiness. However most of our guests don’t seem to mind the bath (lots of cookies and TLC are included with this)! Feeding: We feed canine guests twice daily (unless otherwise directed by our customer). Although we do carry an exceptional high-end kibble that we are happy to feed (California Natural Lamb and Rice), we strongly recommend that you supply your own dog’s food for his or her stay. Raw and other refrigerated foods are welcome. Although a little less convenient for you, it is what is best for your dog. Dog’s are sensitive to diet changes and as a result can suffer stomach and intestinal upset both changing to and from a new diet. So, even though it creates a little more work for you in preparation for your dog’s stay with us, we strongly recommend you provide your dog’s own food for his/ her health and comfort. We will feed our top quality food (at no charge) if you do not provide food, however, for your dog’s sake we hope you will comply with our request. Please provide their food in labeled containers (baggies are fine). Boarding Requirements: We are concerned with the health and safety of all guests in our care. As a result, all dogs must be in good health in order to stay at the Cottage and we must have current vaccination information on all guests. Canine guests must be current on Rabies, Distemper and Parvovirus vaccinations. Also, for the good health of your dog and the safety of our kennel, we require the Bordetella (Canine Cough) vaccination. In order for your dog to be protected, this vaccination must be received at least 7 days prior to check-in and no longer than one year before check-out. Your veterinarian is welcome to fax this information directly to us at 512-285-3466. We will need documentation of these vaccinations for our records. Because of the area we live in and its attractiveness to fleas and ticks, we require canine guests be on a regular flea and tick preventative. We accept titer testing results in lieu of vaccinations. Titers must be within acceptable limits that indicate adequate protection. Hours for Boarding: Drop-off and pick-up may be anytime during business hours . Deposits: Extended stays of 15 days or more may require a minimum partial payment of $100 at time of drop-off (with balance due at pick-up). A non-refundable deposit of $50 or more per dog at the time a reservation is made may be required during peak (holiday) boarding times (deposit amount dependent on length of stay). The deposit will be applied to your balance at check-out. Tours: Tours are available anytime during normal business hours. However, due to our interactive play philosophy, we ask that you call ahead and schedule a time so that a staff member will be available to take you on a comprehensive tour and spend time answering your questions and addressing any concerns you may have. Pet Taxi Service: Pick-up and Drop-off services are available. $25 minimum charge per trip. Price dependent on mileage. Owner or pre-designated responsible party must be present at pick-up/delivery. This service must be pre-arranged.
